The lining is perfect with no stains, tears or wear. It is monogrammed with 3 letters that can easily be removed. The lining is in incredible shape. It is hard to believe it was ever worn. I am not a fur expert but this looks like it could be new.  Depending on the lighting the color appears to be a rich ash to a honey color..
