Gibb was crowned Designer of the year in 1970 and with good reason, his talents have never been matched! The V&A just finished a grand exhibit dedicated to this fine designer. Gibb fashions are nearly impossible to obtain. This four piece set is from my personal collection. I garnished many compliments the few times I donned it. As much as I adore it, it is time to pass it on to another collector! The four pieces consist of a button down jacket, (Nehru collar style) with elastic waist, skirt, bodice (camisole top) and scarf. Gibbs talent shows through with the various textures and colors in these pieces. A great mix and match for your vintage wardrobe! Colors are rust, gold, forest green, (sage on the jacket). Pieces are unlined. Inside of jacket has one extra button. The skirt and jacket are tagged: Designed exclusively by Bill Gibb for Homes and Gardens. The skirt is tagged a 18 (elastic waist) with inverted pleats and hidden side pockets. The camisole has two spaghetti straps and is also tagged a size 18. Inside skirt tag states: Acrylic and metallic, hand washable. The tag on the jacket is faded so no idea of the size, please compare all measurements with your own for a proper fit.
