Offered here is a beautiful autumn haze mink coat from the 1950s, made by Regal Furs in Philadelphia. This coat is in such exceptional condition, because the owner had it professionally stored for many years. This is a gorgeous top quality mink coat! Fabulous color and great feel to the mink. Stunning! It has a shawl collar, and full length sleeves that taper in around the wrists. The pelts are sewn together vertically and show slight stripes in the fur. It has one hook and eye clasp in the middle of the coat for closure, and one tan colored crocheted button at the top to keep it closed around the neck. The grey-brown silk lining has small embroidered flowers, with one inside pocket; two outside pockets have brown velvet lining for warmth. A gorgeous, classic fur coat that will look great over formal or casual clothing! The label reads "Regal Furs Philadelphia" and it is inscribed on inside right side. We were unable to find any information on Regal Furs, possibly because they were a small business during this time and are no longer around. The photos represent the coat as different shades of blonde because of the lighting in each setting. The ones of the coat by itself were taken in the store and the lighting is very warm. The true color is in the photos that were taken of the coat being modeled outside in daylight. There are also a couple being modeled outside at dusk. Item is in excellent condition with a couple minor flaws that can be repaired. There is a 6" rip in the lining along the seam on the left side just under the inside pocket. And there is a rip in the lining in the seam of the right armpit. Both are very easily repairable. Shoulder width, 18.5"; Length from shoulder to bottom, 40.5"; Sleeve length, 24"; Collar widest point, 5"; Bust, 46"; Bottom width, 67". The measurements of model who is wearing the coat in photos: 5'6" tall; 135 lbs; 36" bust; 30" waist; 14 1/2" shoulder width; 24" sleeve length. Shipping insurance is strongly recommended.
