It is an incredible vintage 30's gown, fashioned of a silk panne velvet in a deep scarlett red.... WOW!!! The gown is a draping marvel in its gathering at the neckline, the butterfly front, the bias cut skirting and just LOOK at the back... so striking, makes you think of those sensual 30's stars, like Jean Harlow.... The back has a hook and eye at the neckline and is open down to the waistline... a halter effect without actually being one... The sleeves are 3/4 and gathered into a cuff.  There is a side hook and eye closure.  Just look at the back skirting... it is pinch pleated at the back hip area OH SO GORGEOUS.... trust me, if I was only as thin as my manne, you would only see this dress on ME!!! It would be in my personal collection.... but... I won't be this size until my next life... Lets get back to the dress.... the back also has a belted back, gathered on both sides.... just a striking design. This gown will fit at MAX, 34" bust, 24" waist, 35" hip. Front neckline to hemline is 59".  There are some insignificant imperfections which are common in all gowns that have age. There is an open seam on one cuff. the opening is about an inch and just needs to be closed.  The side seam is open above the side seam closure and needs to be stitched closed.  No staining anywhere.  No holes....
