US Air Force A-2 leather pilot, navigator flight jacket Start Price USD 375.00 Current Price USD 375.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, November 20, 2008 End Time Thursday, November 27, 2008 Location Tucson, AZ See more about 'US Air Force A-2 leather pilot, navigator flight jacket' Description New, excellent condition, never worn  U.S. Air Force A-2 leather flight jacket, black in color, manufactured by Oxford Leather.  Size XL, for a 46 chest.  This is the Air Force leather flight jacket reminicent of the jackets made popular in World War II, and brought back in the early 1990s.  The A-2 is manufactured with A-1 grade leather skin and lining cloth and knit waistband and wrist cuffs. This particular jacket features two handwarmer pockets, two front snap-enclosure pockets, two inside concealed pockets just behind the zipper at chest level, two pen/pencil pockets sewn into the left inner flap, and a pen/pencil/cigar pocket sewn into the right inner flap.  This jacket also has a quilted inner lining that's secured by both zipper as wel as button.  Jacket also features a silk "blood chit" sewn into the inner liner with the American Flag, and the following statement written in English, Korean, Japanese, German, French, Russian, Burmese, Hindu, Urdu, and Chinese: "I am an American.  I do not speak your language.  Misfortune forces me to seek your assistance in obtaining food, shelter, and protection from the Communists.  Please take me to someone who will provide for my safety and see that I am returned to my people.  I will do my best to see that no harm comes to you.  My government will reward you."
