It is a size 26 and has hand beading and threading throughout the dress. The beading and threading are a slight silver color to bring out the ivory color. This dress is one piece, however the top portion of the dress is a corset fit. You do have the option of adding the corset ties that came with the dress or leaving them off as I did. The dress is a strapless dress but it does come with detachable straps with the same hand beading and threading to match the dress as well as a sheer beaded bolero jacket. The jacket is short and only covers the top portion of your arms and your upper back, but adds a beautiful addition to the dress, again this does not have to be worn with the dress. This dress also has a detachable 6 foot train that can be easily put on or taken off with velcro discretely built into the back of the dress. This detachable train was SUCH a great thing! You don't have to carry around extra material with you all night, unless you want to. The train also has the hand beading and threading to match the dress as well, but when you remove the train the back of the dress has a split section which also continues the beading and threading design found throughout the dress. You will also notice three vertical satin rosettes that allow a visual flow from the back of the corset to the back of the dress. These rosettes have snaps on the back of each and can be snapped into place once the train is put on or taken off. There were some adjustments made to the dress. None were major, but since I have a smaller chest there were foam cups placed inside the top of the corset to provide extra lift for me. These can be removed very easily if you so desire. I'm also 5'2 and I wore 2 1/2" heels so the dress was hemmed some to fit my height. This dress was worn only once for about 8 hours. I just got married on Jan. 19 2008 and the dress is in excellent shape! The dress, train and all accessories will be professionally dry cleaned and boxed.
