I purchased them new in the early 70’s. I wore them for just a short time and retired them to storage. The frames are in very good to excellent condition with a few signs of wear at ends of stems. –“R”and 24 are on the individual ends and are clearly visible. The “R” stem says “Made In Italy” with wear on the word “Made”  “802” is engraved on the temple on stem that clearly shows “Persol Meflecto Ratti”.  The center glass lens is clear of scratches. Both of the large amber lenses have some tiny pinpoint nicks and light scratches. I was told that these 3 amber lens 802’s are rare and were the ones most sought after by notorieties like Steve McQueen. The case is in good condition and is the original case that came when I purchased these sunglasses.  The gold embossed “Persol” on the case shows some wear. The snap cover is engraved “Persol”.
