The fully adjustable down hood is also removable if it proves to be an unnecessary option. A multitude of pockets in this, including two handwarmer pockets, provide all the space you need to carry whatever items along with you you may need. In case he gets a little overheated, there are pit zip vents so that he can keep a comfortable temperature without completely losing the warmth inside the jacket.
